They are happy again!
This is one of the families united by Baho Neza Safe Spaces. They shared that they used to experience conflicts at home but could not understand the root cause. After joining Baho Neza Safe Spaces, they realized that unhealed wounds were the source of their conflicts. They decided to use conversations as a way to express their emotions, and now their home is stronger through understanding each other.
FAMILY CONFLICTS RESOLUTION
Pleasing story!
M.J is one of the reintegrated and rehabilitated children in Rubavu district, committed to pursuing his dreams after living on the streets, He went back to school, doubting whether he would finish but UNM mentored him and now He passed the primary school leaving exam & became the top student at his school despite the challenges he faced and he is willing to continue until he finish university.
M.J.’s story
My name is S.R., and I am a farmer. Before I received training on mental health and gender, I used to cause conflict because I believed that being "the man of the house" meant making decisions alone and always being in control. I didn’t realize that collaboration could strengthen our development. Now, I understand the value of working together and have embraced it, which has helped resolve many of my conflicts. I am truly grateful, thank you UNM.
